3 years into college already… Two of my roommates got internships, one got a Mechanical Engineering internship with Nokia and the other got a Computer Science Engineering internship with ViaSat. I feel so behind. I think it’s about time to take another shot at some internships. Time to e-mail some resumes!!

I’d rather post my rant on tumblr because it has less people reading my rant. My rant is not about the Stop Kony campaign, but rather the people who are raging about people spreading anything on the internet. Over the past few days people have been struck by the Kony video and been spreading it all over the internet, but that’s not what’s annoying me because it is just someone’s attempt at catching people’s attention and it’s working.

The people who are ranting about people “jumping on bandwagons” by sharing the campaign are dumb. The ‘Stop Kony’ campaign needs people to spread the message, if people didn’t share it NOBODY would know. The people I’m talking about are ticked off because they feel like they are better than the people who were ignorant of the situation in Uganda because they knew of Invisible Children or Joseph Kony years ago.So what if you knew 5 years ago… why didn’t you spread the message then? Were you thinking Invisible Children should be a dark secret or something?

The people who are getting mad at the ‘Stop Kony’ campaign are like the people who get mad at other people liking a song that they heard of a long time ago.

Sorry for my rant, people on Facebook are dumb.
